Dear Hindus 🙏 In Hindu Dharma, eating with hands is a living yajña. The five fingers are the Pancha Mahabhutas themselves: 🫴 Thumb – Agni (fire) 🫴 Index – Vayu (air) 🫴 Middle – Akasha (sky/ether) 🫴 Ring – Prithvi (earth) 🫴 Little – Jala (water) When these five great elements touch the anna, all five jñānendriyas awaken together: warmth, texture, aroma rising, colours vibrant, and finally the divine taste. Food transforms into prasada because it is now received through the very forces that created the universe. This is why food eaten with hands nourishes not just the body, but mind, prāna and ātmā. Hindu Dharma alone teaches us to eat as a sacred ritual of union with creation. Let us proudly revive and pass this eternal wisdom to our children. ...
